Due to Covid we had to postpone our Easter excursion and rebooked for October half term.

The boat Gwens’ Drum was lovely and clean, well equipped and cosy on an evening.

The weather wasn’t on our side, but we made the best of a bad job! Unfortunately we decided to come back a day early as we needed to dry out !

We will be back again, but next time it will be in the warmer weather.

Had a fantastic 4 day trip on mollys drum to Skipton and Gargrave
After getting into the swing of it, it was a lovely relaxing holiday, with lots of beautiful countryside
and wildlife to view.
Our barge was Comfortable, cosy and had everything we needed
Will definitely book again

Just spent a week on Dan’s Drum and what a great week it was. Never been on a narrowboat before but the Silsden guys explained everything before we set off. The boat was great, really comfortable and great value for money. Would definitely hire from Silsden again without hesitation.

Had an fun packed short break on Rosie’s Drum. The information we received was excellent, boat was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Advice given by Paul was great and ensured we really enjoyed our adventure. The company is very relaxed with no hidden extras. Always on call should you need them too which was reassuring. Highly recommended.

A truly fantastic experience on my first time on the Silsden canal boat, our boat was the Katie Drum, was clean comfortable and well equipped.
The staff themselves were friendly and helpful, making us very welcome,
It was my son's second visit, and I'm sure we will all be back again, thank you for the chocolates!

Had a fantastic time on our first ever canal boat holiday. Booked out one of the wider boats, which was very nice, comfortable, and well kitted out. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a couple of mishaps on the way and both times the engineer was there within an hour to sort it. Would definately recommend this company

Began the weekend as complete novices - and had the best time ever. Spent Sunday evening on Drummer Girl planning our next canal boat holiday and we\'ll be booking up again just as soon as we can. A big thank you to everyone at Silsden boats.See you again soon.

Hum Drum -- the only bad thing about this boat, was having to hand her back! Almost a year to the day, I returned with mum, and renamed the boat Mum\'s Drum, on Mother\'s Day! Every year I bring new crew and get them hooked on narrowboating... And as usual Silsden boats did not let us down- first time in a wide beam and I was a tad \'concerned\' about some of the narrow bridges, but no problems encountered, which itself was annoying, as nothing went wrong on the boat, and thus we didn\'t see Steve, whom is always so friendly and helpful, as are all the Silsden staff! The handover as ever was quick, and the new crew appreciated the demo. The welcome back card, gifts and wine were simply lovely. All aspects of our now seemingly annual cruse, including the lock keepers assisting on the way is perfect. Whilst the wide beam needs more care in terms of manoeuvring, the extra space and functionality made it even more enjoyable! All silsden boats have their own character, and you\'ll never pick a \'wrong\' boat, week or holiday with Silsden boats-- just be careful if you go mid march!! You\'ll usually find a crazy captain and crew having a giggle along the way, and making memories.. thanks Silsden Boats! Between us, we just got some more people hooked on: The \'Drum\' fleet and Silsden Boats! See ya next time! Massive thanks to Barbara for her time and patience with my booking and requests! Best wishes, Captain PP.

Must be one of the best hire company\'s as EVERYTHING is included in the price. The staff are very friendly and know the canal and sights very well.We have been with Silsden Boats for the second year and cant wait for our 2 week holiday next year. The boats are clean and have everything needed for your holiday. The boat we had,Barbra\'s Drum,is well laid out (cant find another boat for hire anywhere with the same lay out)brilliant firm, reasonable prices, good boats, what more could you want?.

Excellent experience on JENNY\'s DRUM over the half term break with the family. Great boat and beautiful scenery from SILSDEN to GALGRAVE. The OLD WHITE BEAR on CROSSHILLS (just 15 minute walk from KILDWICK mooring area) was excellent.
